Re: Termites & Treatment - Responsibility/Landlord issues

My former company (last 14 working years before I retired) was the 3rd largest Pest Control company in Singapore (don't know about now as I retired almost 4 years ago). I do know we occasionally gave qualified assessments. But again, we did have a fully degreed Entomologist on our payroll.

Re: PR approved after 8 Months

I'd say you left out your most important detail, which is that you got married to a singaporean. This Replying to old post, but yeah, looks like OP wants to feel he got pr on his own \:D/ Well, it sure looks like it to me. After all, he used his own equipment, I'm guessing, to snare a local gal to ...

Re: PR Chances Advice

I concur with MOCHS, but at the same time, I think with your pedigree, I'd apply now and take a chance. You tick all the boxes, especially with ethnicity, local law degree and a good founding with a high end law firm, I believe you have enough to jump the gun a bit. (It's worth the gamble in my esti...

Re: LTVP credit card application always denied

Another point of contention would be the type of pass you are holding. LTVP means if your sponsor loses their EP, you also lose your LOC. No matter how much you make, you are not in control and you could find yourself in a bind should your sponsor lose their job as both would be jobless. (unless the...

Lisa, they did. In all probability this is probably a spammer, but Pal is using a new IP cloaking device called Cloudflare that masks IP addresses. The bad part is now we have no way to trace if what smells like a spammer is actually a spammer by looking a the IP addy of origin. I think this is goi...

If I were a bank/CC company and you applied for a CC from me without a job, I'd reject you to. Full Stop.

Re: Termites & Treatment - Responsibility/Landlord issues

Thank you for your kind replies. My logic behind not wanting to move is that my rent is significantly below what the market is right now, due to signing the contract during COVID. The landlord has committed to a contract and they should be held to it, me leaving early allows them to charge some oth...

I concur with SF. It's a sure thing but they will probably want two years before loosening the reins.
Just hang in there and don't try to jump the gun. It might go off and shoot you in the foot....

Re: PR approval chances - 1 year in SG, professional EP family

hopeislife, you need to get a life instead of trying to be a somebody here. Talk about jumping the gun fast. It would help if you did your homework before continually sticking your foot in your mouth. Why are you alluding to an old thread being a possible fantasy story? Only in your own mind, maybe ...

Re: PR Chances for 2024?

I'm going to go against the grain and also against what I've preached on here for decades (literally). I'd say give it a try. While the country is flooded with excellent IT personnel, what you possess is race, Ivy education, a pretty handsome basic salary for only one year in country. Single (meanin...

Re: Doctor has access to all your Medical Records?

I believe CHAS registered private clinics are tied into the national database, but I cannot confirm for certain as I usually use the polyclinics.
