Re: NSmen Expired Exit Permit ( 15 months overdue)
lapsed for ~ 7 years now. I have applied for permits before but somehow forgot to renew it after 2016 :o I never had a call up notice before and but have one now currently for end May 2023 - I have applied to the unti to defer it. My NSF unit is still my current unit. CMPB replied and wants me to a...

How long is a piece of string? Nobody here actually works for ICA and they keep their card VERY close to their collective chests.

That's why I didn't reply late last night (wee hours this morning). Affordable is relative, but to what?

Re: ChatGPT calculates your PR Probability!
Sadly in the Singapore context it is virtually worthless if it doesn't take into consideration race/ethnicity and age & fertility because we all know Singapore also uses immigration to bolster it's (in it's eyes) ideal demographic percentages and future NS needs. Good for discussion but please don't...

Re: PR Application Chances for a Nurse In Sg
Hello everyone! I came across this forum and I am so glad that everyone has been so nice and responsive. Can anyone help me assess my chances of getting PR with the COVID 19 climate hovering around? Nationality : Filipino Gender : Female Age : 35 Years Old Marital Status : Single Salary : 70k+ incl...

Probability of rejection 100%. If you don't listen to those who have come before you, what do you expect.

Re: Buying property in Singapore as dual-nationality
Good luck with that. They would cotton to that immediately I would suspect. If you tried to change passports to change connection to PR you may not be approved and then you would be hoist by your own petard.

That's right. I forgot you were a budding beauty photographer with the ladies here back in the day....... fortunately I didn't meet your criteria. I have seen some of your work and it wasn't bad. Are you still a shutterbug?

Re: Trying to find Adrian Thorneycroft
Hi, I'm trying to find Adrian Thorneycroft, last heard of in Singapore but not had contact for about 10 years. I served with Adrian in the RAF in the 80's but lost touch many years ago. He was about 5ft 6ins and would be in his late 40's early fifties. If you have any knowledge or information I wou...

Re: Thinking of Divorce
Anyway she's probably got nobody else to talk to, if I'm reading the context correctly. Being a foreigner and all. And she has been on this board for 3 years as an active participant so we are actually a listening ear. Sometimes that can make all the difference in the world.

Re: "Proceed to upload documents" button is missing in ICA Website
Why in the hell would you throw a spanner in the machinery before you even had an outcome of the previous application? They just might throw out both applications due to you having you head up a very dark tunnel. The upload button just means that a decision is probably going to be announced shortly ...

Re: CPF accounts of 300,000 foreigners will automatically close from April 2024
Hey beppi! Been a long time. Hope all is well. You have posed a good question I'd not thought of as the old conundrum was as you mentioned. I'm thinking it going to be the same (if you were to try to regain your PR). I don't see any difference between voluntarily giving up PR and withdrawing or them...
