Re: EP in process

I would think just the opposite. If you don't return, Singapore doesn't get the benefit of the grant given to you. Giving you EP brings you back to Singapore so you can fulfil the terms of the grant. Win-Win. Keep you fingers crossed

Re: SC Approval & Timeline

In the past many marriages, particularly between PRC, Indian Nationals & Pakistanis with local spouses were strictly Marriages of Convenience. Once they got what they wanted, be it PR or SGC it was a sham marriage. Lots of local spouses got burned badly. So now, ICA has forced them to spend several ...

Re: is haze season back again?

I haven't noticed it at all. Just decided to see what was actually out there. Isn't much. Not like 3 or 4 years ago.

It would appear that it could be haze/smoke from fires in the Riau Province of Sumatra. https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=b8f4033069f141729ffb298b7418b653 Open link then click map viewer on right side of page. Re: SC approval likelihood and some general advices

In addition to the above, one thing did occur to me. The timing and durations of your future wife's return to the PRC will have to be monitored carefully so as not to lose her PR. While it shouldn't make any difference, it has been known to be rather difficult to regain PR (If she does return to the...

Re: SC approval likelihood and some general advices

Sharing an anecdote: My colleague and her husband are ex-PRC nationals, converted into SGC more than 10 years ago. Her husband is the only child too. When my colleague’s daughter was born, her husband brought his mother (colleague’s MIL) to SG and applied LTVP for her to look after the grandchild. ...

Re: EP in process

Probably your life history as well as all your parents, siblings, etc.etc. This is taking considerably longer due to covid. Add to the fact that you lost your PR and didn't return your NRIC so you have a lot of black marks going for you. You are just going to have to grin & bear it.

Re: SIA cabin crew

Yeah, but they have surplus crews due to the number of mothballed aircraft still sitting. Until they get all their routes up and running, they will have more than enough crews waiting on the ground already. And, to make matters worse, I doubt, with current seating capacities reduced, needed flight c...

Please remember that the EP holder may only apply for LTVP for their parent not the spouses' parent(s).

Definitely not S.E.Asia at the moment. Most off the airlines are still shedding staff due to the vast majority of planes grounded.

Re: Cut carbohydrates 100% to lose weight?

So far, it's been 14 years since I did my weight loss program. I lost 25 kg in 22.5 weeks. I went from a 1.65m frame carrying 94 kg Obese bordering on morbid obeseity to 69 kg which was my military discharge weight 6 weeks shy of 21 years of age. I also lost 10" of waistline in the process, and got ...
