Re: costs of living
If he was living healthy, he would have been wearing shoes while working in the kitchen where stuff often drops including glass items, knives. granny forks. Pans/pots of hot oil etc. Safe working practices go a long way toward healthy living. In your own kitchen especially (or the garage / workshop)...

Re: I am holding LTVP+ (PLOC) to work in Singapore, But Employer needs EP
EP, if approved by the MOM will automatically replace the PLOC. MOM will always used the highest level pass unless specifically requested for a lesser pass (for instance a person may be eligible to apply for an EP but the employer may only want to apply for an S pass - not likely, but possible - I c...

Re: 17 year old girl dies in Clementi
Wars tend to do the same thing. It's no easier when your platoon takes a direct hit by mortar fire. He is in NS, correct? It all sucks. I went over as an 18 year old kid and came back an old man.

Re: costs of living
do u guys think all this overthinking about money is bad of health ?? I reckon it depends on how much of it you have and whether it's important or just greed. I'd much rather have good health and enough to survive in an average way. All the money in the world won't help your if your health goes to ...

Re: Ex-SG PR (male), will I be allowed to visit?
Thanks for that info. Now it's clear. Okay, brought yourself to Singapore for your holiday. You don't have a problem. They did give you a dispensation. The mention of the acknowledgement Mindef is the key I was missing early on. Something kept bothering me, hence my review of the thread and the addi...

Re: Ex-SG PR (male), will I be allowed to visit?
While it might be possibly, I don't think it's probable. Especially coming in on a tourist visa. Alright, I appreciate the response mate. Thanks a lot! I just had another read of this whole thread and it begs a few more answers, if you don't mind. a) Where is your father now? In Singapore or in the...

Re: PR Approval Probability 2021
I wish they did, but with the frequency that it shows up in posts is, in my opinion, a dead giveaway that they still thinks it means something other than the fact that they are not requiring an additional documents "at that time". We have had the occasional post with someone whose button reappeared ...

Re: Ex-SG PR (male), will I be allowed to visit?
Yes you would be allowed to enter the country, however, there is a VERY GOOD possibility there will be an ICA officer waiting for you after you pass through the immigration counter as you will be considered at defaulter. The fact that you renounced at an Sg consulate office in the 'peens doesn't me...

Re: Ex-SG PR (male), will I be allowed to visit?
Hello, I am a former PR, and been residing in the Philippines my whole life, now 21 yrs old. I only visited SG about just 5 times at 1 month max periods. I was able to renounce my PR status since I was 16 years old (16 years and 10 months) through the SG Embassy in Manila. Just for the record, I wa...
