Re: 4 men charged over Covid19 breaches in New Years eve

After the debacle when the government lied to everybody about the ability of the police to use it to track people, doesn't surprise me at all. Especially with them knowing that what they were doing was in violation of the current bans. I am sure word was also passed like 20 questions to whomever was...

Re: PR application - address

Hi all, I own a small business and my company is registered under the address where I'm currently living at. I was wondering whether writing the same address as "Home address" and "Company address" in the PR application could cause any issues? Is anyone familiar with the situation? Would appreciate...

Interesting that there has been no reply to my query or any other. I'm wonder if his location may have something to do with it.

Re: PR Approval Probability 2021

In 40 years I've not heard of an appeal working. However, I've heard of appeals failing and subsequently applying 2 years later and being approved. [I'm one of them] Well then it wouldn’t be considered an appeal anymore, would it? Just a failed appeal and subsequent application success. Well, I mus...

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone moving a hamster overseas. Frankly I’m not sure if a long flight would be the best idea for such a small animal.
I reckon if ladies can fly with teacup dogs, Hamsters & Guinea Pigs shouldn't be an issue.

Re: SC Approval & Timeline

Hi! May I ask after oath taking, the citizenship ceremony will be physical or virtual? Thanks! Just curious, nothing more. Does it really matter if it's one or the other? Are you going to refuse SGC if it isn't the one you prefer/want? Anyway, they can change their minds with only 12 hrs not...

Re: 4 men charged over Covid19 breaches in New Years eve

Couldn’t they check the trace together records again? Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That's a joke, yeah? Leave the token at home and turn off the bluetooth while at the party. This is why I said facial recognition as if they posted clips showing themselves or others, FR could pick up and i...

Re: PR reapplicant chances

Personally, looking at your profile, if you were rejected with both of you & your spouse's qualifications, I do not think a baby girl will make any difference. I also feel that, at least one year, if in a hurry and don't mind blowing the application fee, would be wasting possibly another year & a ha...

Re: Is it safe to let my child play outdoors?

When I was growing up, not only did we play in the street, we play till well after dark under the Street light. When my kids were growing up here in Singapore (both born here) they also played in the street and after dark as well under the street lights. But then again, rather than just say no, we w...

Re: Should we have a FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT?

Fair enough, but I will say at the very least it is undeniable that the WP has really stepped up their game in recent years, even if you disagree about them eclipsing the PAP, you can’t deny they are closing in at the very least. I am sure you have seen this or at least heard it before, but it just...

As for why the father charged for only one death and not the other, there are several scenarios that come to mind but not my place to speculate. Very unfortunate.
I was thinking much along the same lines. I hope the father will give some clarity before he's dealt with.

Re: Should we have a FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT?

Hahaha you’re not wrong, but unfortunately useless we have these tough conversations a things will always stay the same. I've been here 5 months shy of 40 years now. Want to know how many times this has been discussed? And it still stays the same. When the PAP has a stranglehold on parliament it wi...

I also a eat lots of chickpeas, beans and different kinds of lentils (check Indian stores and/or Indian brands). You obviously don't have gout issues like a lot of us. lol I don’t have gout (and hope to stay that way), how do chickpeas affect those with gout? Didn’t even know that was a thing, alwa...
