Re: Advise on Pass approval

So, you did a runner AND are in dept to a Loan Shark (they might be licensed but it's not a favourable rate I'll warrant). You will be lucky to even get a WP approved. Good Luck. You are going to need it.

I'm almost 72. I still have one left in the lower right jaw. No issues thus far so not planning on doing anything with it.

Re: Forward head posture

For sure. As I don't watch too much TV, I have a office desk at home and while I use a notebook, I actually don't use the screen but have a 27" widescreen monitor. which keeps me in a better sitting posture. I'd already done a lot of damage before I made the switch. I try not to use my phone un...

Maybe your idea of a money centre and their idea aren't the same? Anyway, I reckon with their rate of growth worldwide, losing one sceptic and gaining one won't bother them too much. (I was once a sceptic as well - that's why it took me a year to finish my initial application to them) ;-)

Not sure why you can find where the Singapore office is, however it's only a corporate office and it's not open to the public as it's an online company. I guess you don't use PayPal either? anyway, Google opens up the search with all the information you need....."Transferwise singapore office&q...

Re: PR Pending

What were the ethnicities of those who were rejected? While you didn't mention it, other than the fact that you were Malaysian, I daresay you are ethnic Chinese and working on an S pass at the very least and more than likely, you are working on an EP as the EP salary ranges for Malaysians having a ...

Re: Transferwise do cheap transfers but more important can provide US, UK and Aus bank accounts

I just started using Transferwise this month and for the convenience and low cost I'm sold. I'd defo recommend giving it a try. (I hemmed and hawed for the better part of a year after initially inquiring about it and then after I retired I figured I'd need a way that wasn't too costly to transfer th...

Re: Transferring funds from UK to SG bank accounts

However, I'm not sure Neil cares as his post was back in 2011 so both subashgk007 & mikew's post were a waste of time other than the fact that Transferwise was brought up, which I also recommend.

Re: Securing success and happiness for our children

You are where most parents with young children are. Betwixt the devil and the deep blue sea. I'm lucky as mine are grown up, but my daughter who has two small boys (one 3+ that didn't have access to any electronic devices until 3 years old) has now managed to learn what the terrible 2s are all about...

up to two years if you are unlucky (but you could still be successful). We've seen both. It is what it is. Patience is the only key.

Re: Age limit for National Service as a PR

No worries. You already have your waiver, that won't change. The only way it would change is if China gets tired of Singapore's fence sitting and always burning the candle at both ends. If that happens we are all in a bunch of sh*t!
