Gosh I hope not. LTVP holders only account for 0.5% of the workforce. Less then 18,000 people. It’s already a minuscule slice of the pie.

Re: LTVP process for SG-NR couple (current EP)
Feel free to read my topic about PMLA to LTVP. PMLA takes about 4 to 6 weeks to be approved. With the PMLA, the LTVP processing time is reduced to 6 to 8 weeks. Do you really want to gamble on waiting 6 months on the LTVP outcome when you could have applied for the PMLA in the first place to shorten...

Official name is PMLA and that’s before getting married. OP is already married so he can only just apply for LTVP. If married for more than 3 years, maybe he might be granted LTVP+.

Which bank told you that? My husband is a LTVP holder and he only needed to bring his passport & LTVP card to open his own DBS account 2 years ago.sriramshivaraj wrote: ↑Tue, 16 Feb 2021 7:56 pmcannot own independend bank account without the local spouse sponser

Re: PR approval chance in 2020
Hello I've been too shy to write here since my husband and I, our qualifications aren't as impressive as the ones I see here :(.... But we'd like to try so we have some more information... He's singaporean. I am Korean. We wish to get PR asap since we want to get an HDB apartment and start a family...

Re: PR - Spouse Scheme
Would Kevinsmith08 be able to kindly share more about your profile other than your age and that you were on LTVP for at least 3 years? Like race of you and your spouse, your nationality, salary range of your spouse? And if you’re working and any children? My husband is on LTVP for almost 2 years, I’...

Are you two married? You won’t be able to get a DP if you aren’t married. I assume he is looking for a Research Fellow (RF) position? It really depends on the field of research he specialises in... Singapore prioritises research that has to do with health. Eg. Cancer, asthma, diabetes, ageing, etc. ...

For question 1, no one knows what the salary requirement is. However, I earn less than your wife (I have a stickied post here in the board detailing the LTVP process and my salary range) and my husband still got his LTVP. :P As long as both of you don’t have criminal records, the LTVP application sh...

Re: Apply for PR and LTVP 2020
Hey Miss mochs just wondering when you apply for your ltvp, the ica website stated that the sponsor have to submit 12 months cpf and 3 years income tax. But when I applied today there isn’t a section for those two. Is it the same for everyone? That would be in the list of documents that you need to...

Re: LOC pending - NEED Inputs from Other Agencies
How can I get it since I already have a LTVP rather than going to apply or renew one? The MOM website does make it sound like you can only get it when you apply or renew it. When eligible foreigners apply for, or renew their LTVP/LTVP+ with ICA, they will be given an option to apply for a PLOC at t...

You’re giving the wrong information. PMLA is only for non-resident spouses of Singapore citizens. OP and his/her SO are not Singapore citizens.myprivatelife1988 wrote: ↑Mon, 09 Nov 2020 3:33 pmSuggest you get PMLA done first and see the outcome. When you apply with PMLA, you will most likely get LTVP.

The issue here is his wife's age. She cannot own a HDB on her own is she is < 35. Hopefully she is >35. I’m under 35 years old and bought a HDB under Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme. I’m listed as sole owner while my foreigner husband is listed as occupier. We have no kids when I bought it. I’m the one p...

Re: Marriage with NR Foreigner
I did a topic of PMLA to LTVP. You didn’t mention your future spouse’s nationality/race or industry that he’s working in. ICA looks at how long you two have known each other, whether either of you have any criminal records, how often he was in SG prior to meeting you, etc. The only concern is that h...

Did you try googling? Everything is listed on MOM website. https://www.mom.gov.sg/passes-and-permits/work-passes-for-holders-of-long-term-visit-passes-issued-by-ica Holding LTVP or LTVP+ If you are holding a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP or LTVP+) issued by ICA, you can work in Singapore if you get a L...

Re: Apply for PR and LTVP 2020
1. Since S pass will be canceled in mid-Dec, so I have to leave SG in Mid-Jan. However during this Covid situation, it is difficult to exit and enter for both HK & SG (require 14 days quarantine). So how long will they approve for LTVP if PMLT is approved already? 2. Can I write in/ make an appoint...
