Re: Need Advice on Hiring Tutors

For me it really depends on whether your kid learns well in a group or 1-1 environment though I would say based on my experience it was really tough to get the right tutor. An example is my son in P4 who i sent to one of the tuition schools near where i stay at (Sengkang) for science and chinese cl...

I was previously considering private tutoring for my child but online classes seem quite good from what you've mentioned. Could I ask how the online classes are? Are they ...

Try to test if they are able to handle both the instruments (it might be time consuming?). My kid couldn't handle piano in elementary school but she eventually join...

Re: Bali Recommendations?

I'm late to the post but to whoever it helps, i generally dislike Bali but was very taken by this specific place I stayed in previously. I dislike Seminyak, Kuta and Ubud (i'm sorry bali lovers). But I loved Amed! Its this place which is an 8 hours drive from the airport, and its apparently one of t...

Re: Any low budget sport activity in SG for company events?

Cheap options: Trekking in one of the nature reserves in Singapore. The southern ridges is pretty fun. A little more expensive: I really liked go karting/ bounce but it is a quite expensive for the duration. I actually think obstacle courses would be fun for team bonding (not sure the price) http://...

Re: Query: Good startup events to attend in Singapore

The one at one north should be the one called "Block 71" or "LaunchPad@One North". http://www.blk71.com https://www.jtc.gov.sg/industrial-land-and-space/pages/jtc-launchpad-one-north.aspx They might be affiliated with NUS. Not very active in the VC space myself but from what my friends have been sha...

Top international sites to shop on: 1. https://www.fashionnova.com (cheap, younger crowd) 2. https://www.next.co.uk (hig...
