Hello,
The Malaysian passport of my wife originally expired in September 2021. She got a stamp from the high commission of Malaysia in Singapore to extend its validity by 2 years. Can it be used for international travels, specifically to EU?
Thanks

Re: Salary criteria for employment pass and S pass to be raised
"For EP renewal, the new minimum salary requirements will come into effects from May 2021"
Any idea if the May 2021 transition date refers to date of application for the renewal or to the expiry date of the old EP?

I just applied online for PR and Annex A was not even requested during the documents upload process. Or did I miss something?

Re-registering marriage in Malaysia necessary?
Hello, I am from Europe and married to a Malaysian lady with SG PR. We got married (non Muslim) in SG. We have registered our marriage in the high commission of Malaysia in SG. Do we need to re-register the marriage in Malaysia if for example I need one day to apply for a spouse visa there? Or for a...

LVTP and LOC questions
Hello, I was pleasantly surprised to see my LVTP approved a few days after verification of the documents. Now job hunting and having some questions about the LOC. Assuming I find an employer willing to hire me, is MOM making it easier to get a LOC rather than an EP? When working with LOC, are there ...

LTVP application
Hi,
In the LTVP application process, it is asked if the applicant plans to look for work in Singapore. Do you think it is wise to answer by the positive?
Thx

Re: Driving Malaysian car in Singapore with international license
Yeah, indeed she can't, 500$ fine for that :o Also there's no such thing as an international driving licence. It's called an international driving permit and is nothing more than a multi lingual certification of your actual drivers licence. You must have both on you if asked by a traffic cop. A lot...

Job hunting while on SVP
Hello,
Simple question but I cannot find a clear answer to it. Is it OK from ICA point of view to be job hunting (tech related jobs) in Singapore while on short term SVP? Is there a risk to be refused entry if you mention job hunting to the immigration officer when entering Singapore?
Thanks

LVTP graduate from Institute of higher Learning
Hi all, On the ICA website, I found the possibility to apply for a LVTP in the specific case of a "graduate from institute of higher learning seeking employment in Singapore". Is this option limited to the list of school given at https://www.ica.gov.sg/common/list_ihl ? It is not clearly explained o...
