Re: EP Renewal - Worked Overseas since - Seeking advice
Why do you want to keep your EP if you are not living/working in Singapore? It is not a trophy that you should have in your wallet. Just ask your SG employer to directly deposit your salary in your foreign account.

Re: Taxation when working overseas
It is very simple.. If you are Singapore citizen, your residential status does not matter.. you have to pay residential rate on all your income in Singapore. If you were non-resident in a tax year then you don't have to declare your earning in the foreign country while filing your income tax in Sing...

Re: dependent pass eligibility of a child of a single mother
Eligibility and approval are two different things. You are eligible to apply DP for YOUR child if he/she is unmarried and under 21 years old. Approval will be determined by MOM.

Re: USA tourist/business visa procesing time
Depends completely on your profile. I have seen people getting 10 years visa in just 7 working days and some got their visa after their intended date of travel and that too for 1 month only.

Re: Singapore-born children on student pass
Dear sundaymorningstaple, thank you v much for your well-informed reply, and this is what I suspected would be the case too. However, it is not mentioned officially anywhere, hence I chose to ask. (As opposed to the scenario where consequences of giving up your PR are clearly mentioned on ICA websi...

Re: Early renewal of Indian passport
I have an Indian passport and currently lives in SG. It is valid until 2019 October. But the blank pages are not sufficient enough to meet my summer travel plans. I need to go for an early renewal. In BLS website it is mentioned, "If passport validity is more than one year, original company letter ...

I am not a social reformer nor a specialist in any such subject, but simply like to befriend such folks just a way to understand them and share healthy/good friendshi...
