Re: WP>LTVP, SP>LTVP

Hello, hope the below replies help clarify your queries. Assuming the situation being that MOM had given their approval for the marriage, is it a must or it is recommended that we go for the LTVP? Is it LTVP gives higher chances when applying for PR? Then if managed to change to a SP holder job duri...

I'm happy to share with you my details but do note that applications are assessed on case by case basis - applications with similar/same details don't mean that the outcomes will be the same. Replied below in red . Hi, is there anyone here who married a work permit holder and has successful...

Re: How to plan the long term (PR?)

Thank you. I have been in touch with a MOM officer. Basically he told me, that I can apply for LTVP and once that has been approved, my EP will automatically get cancelled. However, the approval for LOC is separate can take up to three months, and in the meantime I'm not eligible to work. Certainly...

Re: How to plan the long term (PR?)

Dears, a lot has happened since I have first asked for ISP advise when I got here almost three years ago. Nowadays I'm happily married with my Singaporean Chinese wife and we are expecting our first baby - and I could not be any happier! Of course with family in mind, one starts to think about the ...

Re: PR Application - advice needed!

1) Can i be a local sponsor despite being a student and being unemployed? Saw a case on the forum with someone in a similar situation as me and he was told to have his parents as the sponsor instead. You can be a sponsor as long as you're legally married. 2) Is it possible for her REAL parents to be...

Re: Steps to take to marry a Malaysian man (wp holder working in Singapore)

Hello, I am a SC F married to a Malaysian WP. I think our profiles are similar, I'm 23 and he's 28. Our (then) combined salaries are almost $5K. Here's what we applied for: MOM's approval - approved within a month PMLTVP (Pre-marriage LTVP eligibility) - approved within a month LTVP - approved in a ...

Re: PR Application - Need Advice

Hi ecureilx, I don't think ICA advocate divorce for the case of SC marrying Filipina but she can always be on LTVP but not PR. I don't have the answer if Govt has any specification on who SC can marry but it's for sure that some nationality or profile are harder to get PR or ultimately SC. I have c...
