Re: Moving to Singapore beginning 2021

Job climate is pretty rough here atm if you aren't a citizen or a PR, so she will find it pretty tough to get a job in the industries you mentioned. You both will have to do 14 days quarantine even by early next year due to the sheer incompetence of the UK government's handling of covid. Sent from m...

Re: Chance to obtain a PR as a single French 33 years old, 4 years under EP.

Education related sector so I don't think it will do much for me really as far aa making much of a difference regarding my chances. If stay in the sector but somehow get a job more governmental I.e. MOE rather than private, my chances might be one percent higher haha? Probably not. She is a nurse at...

Re: Opening a bank account in Singapore as a EU citizen

I'm pretty sure you can open one with your passport, relevant work visa and proof of residence.
Whether u can do it before you actually get here is another matter.

Re: Best card for Singapore-Spain transfers?

Well you could maybe just look into bank transfers with transferwise
There is a company called FairFx that I know has a Euro card so you could look into that

Re: Termination within probation period will affect PR's approval?

Hi, let say if I was being terminated within probation in my last job, but employed now of course. will it affect my PR's approval? Well less so if you applying under the 'family ties' scheme. If under the skilled worker scheme it won't look particularly good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well I suppose that's capitalism lol. It is a complete scam though. I suppose I can see the temptation if your English proficiency isn't good. However, they are essentially charging thousands to fill in a few forms.

Re: How the hell do you upload cover letter, testimonials et all in ePR?

I put on 7 pounds. Only realised yesterday. No more beers for me lol. Going to try and not eat from 6pm to 12 pm until CB is over. Lost 2 pounds from yesterday afternoon so far.

Re: Why is this not enough to live in Singapore?

You have more than enough. 2000 a month for rent isn't necessary. If you really must live by yourself then you can look for studio apartments out of the city. Eventually if you meet someone then you can rent somewhere bigger together and bills will be combined and therefore cheaper once again. Sent ...

Re: PR approval in 2019

Just want to make Singapore a permanent home is all. Being on an EP is somewhat unsecure way of living. However, i shall try at least 3 times aa circumstances change before eventually having to accept defeat.
