You need to inform ICA. How long are you married? kids? If you are married for more than 2 years, it is OK. Good chance. Her job loss may not have a big impact on the application. Applied for PR for my wife in Feb 2020 (myself as sponsor) - Result still pending. She has just recently resigned from her job due to pregnancy. Do I need to notify ICA? Will the Upcoming GE affect PR applications? Am uncertain whether to apply PR for my wife now or wait till the election is over. Or is there no difference.

Some updates here. Wife and I flew in few weeks ago, we applied for LTVP.

Just received In Principle Approval today, took 2-3 weeks. Time to make photocopies and book the appointment.

My wife’s move to SG is delayed. Spoke to her, she wants to complete an IELTS academic exam in China first, and have booked a test date.
