Does a live-in tenant bears air-con maintenance cost?

Hi guys, I am living in the same unit as my landlord. He rents out two room while the rest of his family stays in the remaining rooms. I rent one out of the two rooms of his, and have renewed the contract multiple times. Originally signed the first contract with another friend (co-habit) until she l...

Re: Switching job(s) while PR still pending

I switched jobs while my PR was still pending. My profile and your GF is pretty similar. I'm a Malaysian, female Chinese, 24 and working in the design industry as well. The only difference is I've been working in SG for 3 years. And I've been living in SG for a total of 6 years. 3 years went to stu...

Re: PR IPA Letter ?

Hey dynoto/anyone else who knows; how exactly do you do the health declaration online? I have to log in with my Singpass (currently tied to EP number), and once I log in it tells me I'm not a member so I don't have access to that information. Is there some section on my IPA that states my new Singp...

Re: Chances of getting Singapore Citizenship

Borrowing this thread. More of a curious musing than an actual question. 33 year old, Chinese ethnic male, Indonesian citizen. Been in Singapore all the way from Primary 1. PSLE > O Level > A Level > NUS Bachelor's degree. Been a PR for more than 10 years. Income is average i think for my age. Fina...

Re: Possibility of Offering after hr interview by ASTAR

You can contact the HR to confirm your situation easily.. And isn't it a common practise for employers to ask about date of availability, last drawn and expected salary to assess if they should hire you?

Re: PR chances or pursue dream of my job?

Hi there! Just to shed some light on your situation, I applied for PR in April 2016. I quit the company who filled the Annex A form for me in Aug 2016 as I could no longer tolerate working there and at that point I could have cared less about my application lol. I was unemployed for a month whilst ...

Re: How fast did you get rejected on your PR application

I think it depends on different individual's profile. I have a few friends who waited for a year and got approved. Some got rejected just after 3 months. I got mine after 9 months of waiting. Submitted it in early April 2016 and got approved recently, on 23rd December 2016. Are you still waiting? Ju...

Re: PR Application Documents Translation

Doubt you need to translate it. Cus I submitted my documents for my SPM results (whole cert is in Malay) and it got accepted and later on my PR got approved. My boyfriend who just recently applied for citizenship with his birth cert in Malay also got accepted by the ICA officer. Doesn't hurt to be s...
