That written consent is basically your employment contract.

Once you sign that, the employer can submit that as the 'consent'

Hi there, Question: Will the vetting process for Letter of Consent (LOC) stop if an employer withdraws the application? If yes, then how does one avoid this vicious cycle? I think the biggest problem we face now is that employers think that people on LTVP are employed as foreigners.

We have sent a few messages and the most annoying reply we keep getting is "We do not have quota for foreigners"

When we try to educate, it usually gets ignored.

Bloody frustrating :(

Yes it is. Directly to employers is prob the best solution, but its really more difficult though :mad: :mad:

Assuming she can find a role at a reasonable salary (too low and MOM won't entertain (this is what caused the clamp down - working too cheap and taking a job that most any Singaporean could do, it should be a problem. Well... I don't really wanna have kids in my current house! Its gonna be squeezy. Parents + Brother + wife + me + kids = die? My plan is ROM next year June and we can do the other ceremonies at a later date once we are settled down.

My dad is 1949 baby thou so.. LOL :P

I'll be happy if I live till 65. Though I plan to save enough and slowly build my house in Bali or Jakarta.

Served 2 miserable years Be thankful for those two years. 56,000 of my peers didn't make it through their two years during the VN war.
