Re: PR Application for Spouse Help!

Hi guys,

Just to update and add to the stats here.

My appointment for PR for my spouse was in early Aug.

We received a reply via post on the 23rd of Feb and my spouse had received her PR IPA.

Good news for us!

Re: I want to stay in Singapore with my family!! :(

OP - have to say that you can make plenty of youthful excuses on "how put together is anyone's life at 20-21" - ultimately this is ICA we are talking about and ICA's operations are governed by a bunch of hidden systems and templates and criteria - there is little to no room for compassion. Most of ...

Aiyoh.. What is she doing now?? I'm assuming she graduated from uni here?
Nope, after her denial of entry. She went back to Seoul to get her degree and work. Never see her for a few years already.

Pretty girl though ^^

Re: I want to stay in Singapore with my family!! :(

Hmm yes, I have been told its a case by case kind of a thing too. My mom's friend visited in and out of Singapore so often for a span of 5 years and on his 2nd last trip, they finally gave him a warning that he would not be allowed back in Singapore. But that was nullified after he renewed his pass...

Re: Steps to take to marry a Malaysian man (wp holder working in Singapore)

likely not , but most bigger effect i could guess is the future application like PR even for LTVP Those who have been banned, from my experience, are those who were on Maid Permit, (WP) and decided they must not listen to MOM. So let's say if we were to apply and the MOM rejects us but we still go ...

Re: Steps to take to marry a Malaysian man (wp holder working in Singapore)

The Senior Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Manpower (Mr Hawazi Daipi) (for the Minister for Manpower): Sir, there are presently more than 500,000 foreign work permit holders in Singapore. To maintain our social equilibrium, these large numbers of foreign workers are allowed to work in Si...

Re: Steps to take to marry a Malaysian man (wp holder working in Singapore)

My wife was on WP as well. We went through the following route - MOM Approval (approved in Dec 2015), PMLE (approved in Feb 2016), ROM (April 2016) and LTVP (approved in June 2016, renewed in May 2017). Now pending PR application. Do note that you will need to buy a resale flat yep, you cannot BTO w...

Re: Job Application help!

Wow, whatever happened to moving fast... The waiting game is killing me. Welcome to Singapore? I never had a 6 months wait but 2 to 3 months is expected for the various paperwork to push through. If it is extremely urgent, expect 1 month. So hurry up and wait! I am a local though. No passes to appl...

I have been wanting to move out to the private sector. I am a graduate with one of our local universities. Recently, I l...
