Irresponsible people still holidaying

I am not exactly sure what it means by having his REP shortened. Maybe he is on 5-year, and say, he has another 3 years to go then ICA shortened it to one year? He can then apply for renewal again and get the standard 5 years? ICA could have just revoked his PR right away, deport him after 14 days o...

Re: PR approval in 2019

Anything in specific hurting our chances and anything we can improve that might help increase the chance? You started by thanking SMS and SF for their inputs on this board so I assumed you would have gone through some of them to know why I arrived at conclusion above. Your nationality and race, you...

Re: REP renewal for retired PR

If you are a pr and plan to retire here, why wouldn't you just become a citizen and remove the uncertainty? Curious what reasons would stop you other than you applying for citizenship and being rejected in which case the writing is probably on the wall anyway. Well, some may want to enjoy the best ...

What are your biggest PR rejection fears? [emoji20]

What seems to be their reason for concern? Quota? You may loosely say it’s due to quota. The regulars here have said it countless times that PR is the stepping stone to SC. The SC materials must be able to understand the local cultures, integrate well into the Singapore society. Also, the gahmen ne...

Applied once when we are not married -- both rejected.
Once after we get married + son -- rejected.
