Re: child born in USA not included in SG Citizenship

Is your first child born in Singapore and acquired citizenship by birth?

Is your second child a boy?

What new ruling is it?

Appeal on PR rejected recently

OP keeps using the phrase “educated in a Singaporean University”. Can it be more exact? Is it a bachelor or master degree graduated from NUS or NTU?

Re: PR to SC for partial family

The message given to ICA is.... “I am going to take the benefits of being PR, but our sons are not going to serve NS...” Any PR application that excludes son, as I understand, carries 0 chance of success. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk And as I understand, once a PR application has excluded son...

Re: PR to SC for partial family

I am surprised the husband in case#2 has zero chance at PR, given the wife already has it... I was thinking he would at least have a better shot than the wife getting SC on her own. The message given to ICA is.... “I am going to take the benefits of being PR, but our sons are not going to serve NS....

Re: PR to SC for partial family

My two sisters-in-law asked me to post their conundrum. Sis-in-law #1 - She is an Indonesian Chinese PR married to Malaysian Chinese PR and they have 3 pre-NS boys, all PR with Malaysian passports. They are both working, in their early 50’s and have been PR for decades. Husband doesn’t want to beco...

Re: SC Approved

Considering his stay is only 2015 onwards only he got PR and then now Citizenship is a Great success for him. This is a rare case. However his segment being a preferred category, his income levels, ... must have been a positive to him. But he has not mentioned about his wife (whether she is SC or.....

Re: work termination during PR application

Honestly speaking, your outlook is not good. Please make a plan to leave Singapore by end of January unless you are able to find a job within the next three months.

Re: What affects chances of getting PR in Singapore?

Again, why don't they just come out and say "this year we will accept x of this and y of that" and save everyone the trouble of trying to guess. Other countries like Australia and Canada are totally transparent about the quotas of skills, ages and educational qualifications they will accept. The on...
