Re: Anyone applied for citizenship but is still pending? How long have you been waiting?

My friend applied in Feb 2018 and got approval at Dec 2019. That’s close to 22 months of waiting. Your 14 months is nothing compared to that.

My SC Journey - Approval in 2020

That’s a very long story. You have been in Singapore since 3 and you applied when you were 28.... that’s 25 years of residence in Singapore!

Congratulation!

Re: My bloody experience applying PR with a bloody agency (being rejected already)

First, we have heard enough issues with these so called immigration consultants. I am surprised that you are in this forum yet continue to apply though them Second, regret to hear about your rejection. But if your intention to apply PR is to get a dream job, then I think you should do the other way ...

Re: PR application clarification

Yes for spouse in this case I agree ..but for kids it is really different situation right? Not everyone can afford to send their kids to international school Whether anyone can afford to send kids to international has no bearing in the chance of getting PR. Not staying in SG and married to only a P...

Re: Ex-PR, thinking of moving to Singapore

You renounced PR at age of 17 just before you were due for NS. This is a “death sentence” for any future application for “passes” in Singapore.

Good luck. You can try to look for a job here and let us know if you are successful in your EP application.

Is there a process for her when she arrives?
No there is no workaround apart from having a tourist visa for 30 days.

Re: PR rejected at first time

You don’t need a PR to stay with your mother. You can have LTVP or student pass to do so.

Re: HPB response time for verification of vaccination requirements for foreign child

From Feb 1 , 2019 , HPB has mandated the verification of vaccination requirements for foreign children (as a prerequisite for dependants pass ) and the same is said to be processed within 10 working days. We have applied for the same for our son on Feb 28. But haven't received any update yet. Sent ...

Re: Tax relief for parents

Hi, I am a foreigner who has been working in Singapore since 2017 on local contract. In 2018 we had a baby (born in Singapore with foreign passport). What kind of tax relief can I get? I see I can get the Qualifying Child Relief (QCR) with $4000. What about the Parenthood Tax Rebate (PTR)? It is a ...

Re: Register birth certificate for child

I'm holding a LTVP and recently got divorced with a Singaporean man. However, later I found that I got pregnant and I would like to give birth to my child in Singapore, and for the child to register her birth certificate here, with a Singapore citizenship. Will the laws here recognise her citizensh...
