What happened to the "Can you pinch more than an inch?" rubric?

Though pinching an inch might be a goal for those who can grab a handful...

I had a long argument with them as the position did not involve anything remotely financial (i.e. no possibility the individual could embezzle funds to cover debt etc.) but they wer...

Re: UK expat (non resident) cannot register with "gov.verify"

Assuming you still have your licence can you not just provide a scanned copy? Of course if it has expired then you are stuck. Used to be possible to do it from abroad, but no longer. Then you need to use a foreign licence. My Sg licence is the only one I have now. This is the relevant annoyance fro...

Re: Lets start a Crypto Group

If you want to form a crypto group why would you tell everyone about it?

Go down to Geylang. Wander around the cafes there until you find a guy at a table with lots of pistachio shells scattered around. Buy him a drink and then discuss his fee for sorting our your problem...

Re: Popular General/Homeware etc... Stores?

DIY is not something that Singaporeans do here. There are HomeFix and SelfFix outlets, but they have limited range. (And it's not just those kinds of shops that have a limited range of goods on offer.) For Brita Maxtra I now buy online from Qoo10. In fact, for anything other than groceries I tend to...

What else shall we add?
Narrow pavements?
Cycling (now) allowed (but previously tolerated) on already narrow pavements?
Inadequate motorcycle parking?
Pavement shelters that occupy part of the pavement?

Re: I feel so sad having to choose between SG and Canada

...countries that have relatively liberal immigration policies (Canada and Australia come to mind)... The key word there might be "relatively" as far as Oz is concerned. I had hoped to relocate there and get PR, but I'm now too old (over 45) and not rich enough (don't have a few million d...
