Re: Ban on Electronic Devices above a certain size!

The ban will hit tablets, laptops, handheld games consoles, e-readers such as Kindles and portable DVD players. Is this a joke?? Haven't the Governments got the b...

cannot emphasize enough on this. Electronics have too much wear and tear and/or lemons.
If you must, get something in HK/SG that has warranty covered in Shanghai

Re: PERTH first timer
Hellooo eagles! will be travelling to Perth next week, impromptu trip. any advice and recommendations for a solo traveller? I've driven down to Margaret River from Perth before, alone. It's where they filmed the original "Point Break" big wave as well as nice wine region. It was a good drive (despi...

Re: xiaomi notebook air
I have one of these, purchased at a Xiaomi store in China. I love it, the price was great. There are extra PCI-E slots to expand it. It is definitely a Apple rip off, but it is NOT half the power. The 12" is same cpu/gpu specs as the "Macbook" (not Air), but half the RAM, while much bigger. It's a ...

Re: PERTH first timer
What's there to say? It closes at 5pm. In all seriousness - explore Fremantle, Kings Park and walk along the foreshore. Cottesloe Beach or even Scarborough beach are ok. You'll need a rental car if you do anything outside the main CBD. Thanks for the suggestions, yea it'll be a good place to clear ...

Re: Your Pay Pal experiences
Yea likewise I've had fantastic service from Paypal and would try to pay via them as a consumer. Most people dont know that paying through paypal provides an additional layer of consumer protection. Also to prevent situations like toorak_girl's, I'll just attach a creditcard to my paypal and not hav...

Re: Breaking a lease (illegal partition room rental)
Frankly I am a bit lost in the chronology of events, but generally If what the LL did (or neglected to do) is not affecting you directly there is no breach of the contract. More-over, even if it is affecting you, it has to be rather severe to justify breaking the TA. This. Feels like you're just ma...

Re: Looking for a suitable gym, what's the best option around?
yup gymbox bishan is 24hrs! Just went there for a midnight session last night! I dont really fancy gym membership too as I will only be free after after the hubby gets back home, which is probably minutes before most gym closes. Personally tried gymbox (bishan) & anytime fitness (woodlands) and both...
