Re: Need Advice: EP application got rejected
As you mentioned, the company isn't willing to pony up the additional remuneration and they probably didn't tick the S pass box as well as they didn't want to incur the S pass levies (up to $650/mo) I'd say you are stuck between a rock and a hard place. My thoughts? Not good. Start looking elsewher...

Re: PR Letter
...the genre that will follow the money and give up PR if the right offer comes along... You mean to say that not every PR applicant or holder views it as a stepping stone to Singapore Citizenship? That's inconceivable... to many locals. i think it depends, generally people coming from less develop...

Re: [Guide] PR Approved - now what?
If you've had any correspondence with ICA and have a rough idea of when it was approved, you have a ref number already, and can try a few dates until you get the right one. I would not advise you to do this and offer this as a suggestion to fellow forum members. I'm curious as well, SF. Why not? Th...

Re: renewing EP during PR application
hi there, is there any way an EP renewal can affect a PR application (appeal) positively or negatively? we could apply to renew my EP now or wait another 3-4 months. my PR appeal has been pending since october 2016, just wondering if it has an impact at all. Renewing EP will not create any positive...

Re: Switching job(s) while PR still pending
back back, happy chinese new year everyone  I've already mooted that about 10 years ago, right here on this forum. My answer to the whining Singaporean males who cry-cry about the women getting two years ahead of them in their careers while the 'boys' are doing their NS to eventually become...

I've already mooted that about 10 years ago, right here on this forum. My answer to the whining Singaporean males who cry-cry about the women getting two years ahead of them in their careers while the 'boys' are doing their NS to eventually become men (one would hope). Couldn't find the original bu...

Re: PR to Citizenship but under 21 y.o.
I suppose for young/student PRs all you need to do is to be present in Singapore during the REP renewal?
because your PR is tied to your parents

At this point she's pretty confident due to her race & nationality she will get it 100% regardless of her job skipping Unspoken birthright .....    Should dovetail into Singapore nicely then. maybe if the govt really intended to maintain the racial ratio, they c...

Re: RE: Re: Switching job(s) while PR still pending
i suppose moving job once while the PR is pending is fine, her case is that she already moved on dec 2016 .. and now planning to move again o.o in the past change of employer meant application cancelled. You must update ICA when you have change of employer told her to update after she moved since l...

Re: Switching job(s) while PR still pending
I switched jobs while my PR was still pending. My profile and your GF is pretty similar. I'm a Malaysian, female Chinese, 24 and working in the design industry as well. The only difference is I've been working in SG for 3 years. And I've been living in SG for a total of 6 years. 3 years went to stu...

Re: Switching job(s) while PR still pending
Don't forget, she has one advantage other's don't have. Young (maybe too young though), female and a incubation oven for future NS men. ;-) She might be too early even with that, but there's no harm in trying. She's still a shoe-in at some point. But they still need to have some parameters. hi SMS,...
