Understand that once LTVP is approved and card issued the EP will stand cancelled anyhow my spouse may leave the job before that so want to go ahead and apply so that we don't end up in a situation withou...

Re: Should we appeal for pr ?
It's honestly very disappointing .. As this decision totally discounts my existence as a pr here for close to a decade and doesn't give my family the confidence to call this place our home as yet ... Time will tell how the situation goes

Re: Should we appeal for pr ?

Re: Where to live in SG for single lady?
Don't increase your budgets , markets are not good for landlords currently with more than 10'percent flats going empty for once atleast the tenants have a upper hand ! I have negotiated my price way down at the time of renewing my rental contract and so can you stick to your budgets the ranges of 2-...

Re: Should we appeal for pr ?
Thanks ecureixl . Just thinking aloud similar to some application for kids on LTVP where parents have directly applied for their citizenship as a family ( surpassing the pr route) Wanted to know if 1) will this be allowed in my case son , ( pending pr) husband (EP) and myself ( pr) put a citizenship...

Re: Should we appeal for pr ?
Providing loc to LTVP should have been done much earlier I recollect how easy it was for an EP holder to get his spouse on dp and get a job via loc but for pr/ sc spouse this facility wasn't available making them at a disadvantageous position. What an irony ...

Re: Should we appeal for pr ?
Agree to your thoughts bbc watcher and singapore flyer ... Interesting names :-) I will consider on these advices they are constructive and add values to our case ... Just to add on when my husband came to sg he was on LTVP and then moved to EP then we didn't have the loc concept .., LTVP now may no...

Re: Should we appeal for pr ?
Thanks bbcwatcher .. That's what we intend to do in case the EP goes off On the other hand moving from EP to LTVP ( loc) job wise wouldn't weigh down the application of his pr ? Whether we appeal or apply fresh after a year .. I personally thought candidates on EP stand a better chance but again can...

Re: Should we appeal for pr ?
Well I understand what you say but absence of these points might as well become a negative if not positive so let's leave that... There is only so much one can do to make his/her application stronger and in our case we have .. For the case of successful appeal I would say the person got lucky as I d...

Re: Citizenship Application Chances
I didn't know you could directly apply citizenship for your children who haven't even got their PR s?? This is permitted only when one of the parent is a Singaporean in your case both of you are PR so how does this work out ?
