Re: New Zealand citizen travelling to Australia

Just taking a look at this myself as I may need to go to Melbourne end of next month and I must say the AU Govt. travel websites are a hot mess. From this page: https://covid19.homeaffairs.gov.au/travel-restrictions#toc-4 at the bottom of the list of exempt categories list is this: "a fully vaccinat...

Re: What are my cousins children called?

I've always used 2nd cousins but I'm pretty sure that is wrong and there should be a x removed in there somewhere. I have "cousins" who are the great-great grandchildren of my aunt, I've got no idea what number that should be :D

Re: Djokovic case; "had COVID therefore do not need the vaccine since the vaccine offers me less sustainable immunity"

1. No "Emerging evidence shows that getting a COVID-19 vaccine after you recover from COVID-19 infection provides added protection to your immune system. One study showed that, for people who already had COVID-19, those who do not get vaccinated after their recovery are more than 2 times as likely t...

Re: Nightmare neighbor, what to do?

Google "how do i report a fire hazard to SCDF"
First result: "You may also submit a fire hazard report through an e-form on the SCDF website at go.gov.sg/scdf-feedback-form, and upload the relevant photos."

Re: TIN number UK.

Yes: https://www.oecd.org/tax/automatic-exchange/crs-implementation-and-assistance/tax-identification-numbers/UK-TIN.pdf That link also mentions a UTR number but I don't recall ever having or needing to provide that, so that might be more for people who are/were self-employed, the NI Number was the ...

Re: Why are we NOT being given an anti-body test after being double jabbed?

Personally, I don’t really care what the antibody test shows, it’s not like you’re going to overdose if you get a booster while your antibody count is still high. For me personally, I don’t want to get poked an additional time just to satisfy my curiosity. Similar situation during my last Heath che...

Re: TraceTogether vaccination lack of update

There is a separate health declaration form you need to fill in when visiting medical offices which is uses a different QR code and system, if you are accompanying a patient (I've done this a couple of times with my wife) then you just use Trace Together. It is a bit of a pain and confusing though, ...

Re: Has anyone been vaccinated with Sinopharm ?

FDA advisory panel has recommend approval of Pfizer for under 12s: https://www.cnbc.com/2021/10/26/fda-panel-recommends-pfizers-low-dose-covid-vaccine-for-kids-ages-5-to-11.html So actual FDA approval is likely to follow and then as you say I'd expect Singapore to follow suit but that might take a l...

Re: How to get Sinovac?

... Because they are Sinophiles and there's no greater way to feel intense pride and racial superiority than a vaccine made in China? As well as the sinophiles there's also the tinfoil hat brigade that think mRNA vaccines are a sinister plot to modify everyone's genetics, well at least those that h...

Re: Reopening is too slow

I actually believe I saw 'Seagate' on a building recently. They opened an R&D center in Ayer Rajah cluster just few years ago. Not sure about manufacturing. They have a couple of buildings in Woodlands, used to go past them on the way to our old office up there. I assumed they were manufacturing/as...

Re: Has your helper been vaccinated?

Could be a lot worse, go have a look at the Bangkok Post website for an idea of what truly incompetent (and corrupt) government looks like in the covid crisis. My wife is so glad she is here with me but very worried for her daughter back in Bangkok.

Re: Has your helper been vaccinated?

Oic, so i think that's the reason why..my helper's cousin got vaccinated perhaps because she's in her 40s. while mine is still in waitlist. Those aged 12-39 could register for the vaccine on 11th June, you pr helper should be no exception, don’t see why she would be on the waitlist. Because the lat...
