Re: Which job offer would you take?

If I were you, I will take the American Job. Reason is:
- Bonus in Local Bank is not guaranteed.
- If you like technical, you can really improve your technical skills in American Company, which is priceless.

Re: URGENT. Need help about PR formalities

His PR already approved and need only the formalities, what are u talking about? my bad, didn't read carefully...

Re: Got my PR but Employer demand re-signing of new contract

Believe me, they will know what they are doing. No, it will probably not be adjusted again, as they will have already compensated in the new contract for that, or you might not get the increment you thought you would at the beginning of the third year. But I've not heard of that being done. Thanks ...

Re: Got my PR but Employer demand re-signing of new contract

Actually, you are partially right, the employer's contributons would be 17% until the beginning of the 3rd year, UNLESS both the employee and employer agree to pay you and deduct from you the full amount from the beginning of PR (which is entirely legal). Anyway, you will find that contracts here a...

Re: Wife denied entry need advice

Visitors pass (white card) have a limit on the number of days they can stay in Singapore. And I do not mean the number of days that was stamped or written in the white card. Foreigners have to leave Singapore for a consecutive amount of days before this limit is reset. This depends on the nationali...

Re: PR for parents of Singapore Citizen

To be perfectly honest, a) buying a property here doesn't do anything in the quest for either PR or Citizenship, buying a property only help the buyer, it doesn't help the country at all. Also, Let me ask as further question because you have already put your finger on the reason why they will proba...

Re: Citizenship approved

Hi streetvendor38, ienquiry still shows the status as 'pending'. So looks like that's how the system is setup. Sponsored applicant information has all disappeared as well. May be the pending needs to be read as 'pending sgjourney'. The same happened recently to me also.... Yes, you must complete th...

But if you get the you can stay here and work on your respective employment pass, it's a sorry but we don't want you. At least the first two indicate that there is still h...

Re: PR APPLICATION IS PENDING BUT MY PASS WILL BE CANCELLED

Not necessarily true. If you are applying for PR via Family Ties to a Singapore Citizen, it is not even a requirement to have a job as long as your sponsor spouse is capable of showing the necessary income to meet ICA's requirements. Oh yeah, that's true. Maybe my housemate applied under profession...

Yes, your PR application will be canceled automatically. You will receive the cancellation letter 2-4 weeks after your SPass cancellation.
