Here it's generally not outright, in your face (although it is quite often), but more insidious. Like when applying for jobs, ...

Re: RE: Re: PR Rejection

I have a friend who is a True Blue who originally hailed from P. Ubin as a kid and has a flat in AMK. He married a PRC and tried to get her an LTVP/PR etc for over 5 years with letters (several times) from the AMK MPs (and you know who sits at the top of the AMK GRC right?) The problem is, MPs will...

Re: PR Rejection

I would suggest talking to the MP since your spouse is SC. They might help you out.

Re: The Oil and Gas Layoffs are starting

So there will be no peak oil for a long time to come. Once the US starts sharing their shale oil technology, everybody will start digging their own oil (5 trillion barrels). Not a good news for the OPEC cartel (and the climate). Well it is likely the price would not go near or over $100 anytime soo...

Re: PR Advice

He's pretty up there; I bet it's because he's a flight risk. A highly paid banker? That leads the pack in terms of mobility. Would relocate to other countries at the drop of a dollar bill. 120k in a bank at the age of 42, I wouldn't call it highly paid, just well paid. At 42, you will find people w...

Re: Applying for PR only for self but not for the spouse

To me it's a negative tick. Can you finalize a divorce ASAP? Plus even if the spouse is not applying, I understood of late ICA asks the details of the spouse as well including occasionally copied of her credentials ... Not occasionally but if you put your marital status as married then definately y...

I'm a Canadian citizen who has spent three months in Singapore during the fall of 2014. My fiance has a job here and I am using social passes until I can apply for a spousal visa in May, after our wedding (which will not take place in Singapore). I obtained three roughly consecutive 30-day visit pa...
