Refresher Driving Lessons

My wife and i both have permanent Singapore license. I am able to drive comfortably but she is a bit nervous since she has not driven in 5 years and we dont want to risk a new car.

Is there an option for her to take 5-6 hours of refresher driving lessons to feel confident ?

Re: Unfair system for Citizenship Application

Recently, my wife was telling me about a couple who is moving to Canada. They want to live here but their children PR was rejected even tho the parents are PR. So, you expect future citizens to be fully committed and yet you reserve the right to judge the usefulness of people who are willing to comm...

Re: Unfair system for Citizenship Application

I think the first course of action for the OP is to stop referring to these cases as his friends because you are clearly not friendship material. A citizenship is a reward for you past commitment to Singapore with a hope that it stays that way in future. Just hope, not a bond :)

Re: Fresh PhD holder salary in industry

The reason why experience is preferred over Ph.D. or graduate degree is mainly due to the quality of managers here. Most can talk, delegate and pray. But they cannot mentor or train or teach or lead by example. Therefore, it is always safer to get someone who has low long-term potential but has some...

Re: PR chances or pursue dream of my job?

When I went to get PR card, they asked me if I am in the same job. I was but what I gathered is that it wont matter even if you change jobs. I suggest follow your dreams rather than compromize. Hi there! Just to shed some light on your situation, I applied for PR in April 2016. I quit the company wh...

Re: Student Pass rejected

At the same time, it is possible some error happened in your STP application. So, appeal mite help. I did my PhD in Singapore. And my EP was rejected not once, but twice. Both due to misinformation in the application. Thanks to HR. And when I applied for PR later, I got it in one attempt despite the...
