I am partial to GymBox. It's a no frills gym that doesn't require a contract.
The gym's themselves vary a little in terms of size and how much equipment each has. So best to checkout a couple in your area instead of making a decision on 1.
I concur your not likely to find a gym not crowded.

Re: Getting multiple employers to apply EP simultaneously
I suspect the OP is asking whether he can obtain multiple IPAs and then choose which one to honor. I.e. akin to obtaining multiple job offers before choosing which employer to start with. It seems the answer on this is no. And to sundaymorningstable and strong eagles point - this tends to piss off e...

Lost passport - Can I enter and exit on my other one?
Hi, I am fortunate enough to hold citizenship in 2 countries and hold 2 passports (and SG PR). My re-entry permit is tied to passport 1. I am unfortunate that I've lost passport 1. I've checked on ICA website and can't shift my re-entry permit to my second passport as it's a different nationality. U...

Hiring cycle in Singapore is very slow by western standards.
Recruiters often don't provide updates until they have something to tell you.

Re: HELP - Relocating our Domestic Helper from HK to SG
You can ask MOM for an exception approval on the basis she is a long standing employee and you have a specific medical condition she is capable of assisting with. I don't know if they will accept this as a reason. You can phone MOM (number on website) to inquire and someone will helpfully explain th...

Re: Employability of PEP vs PR
A number of multi-nationals seem to be more keen on PRs these days as EPs (due to ratios of employers) come by. It used to be I didn't even have to discuss whether a hire would be able to get an EP with HR but now it's something I need to confirm before I can move forward. I've heard some others in ...

You gave away a lot of personal particulars in the public domain mate I dont think the public can cause any harm with whatever data I have disclosed.Name,Age and country is very generic I feel. Name, age and country is more then enough to identify you with a high degree of precision if not outright...

Re: Success stories of your partner employment DH > LOC/EP / Advice needed
As someone who has moved (with my wife) frequently over the last 20 years to new countries with one of us (sometimes me!) being the trailing spouse, we always moved together and trusted in our ability to find good work. Our experience in Singapore: I moved here with a position. My wife came and wait...

Re: What to take with me to Singapore?
I don't think you need to worry about bringing anything unless there is something very spanish you will miss.... but even that you may be able to find. Singapore is very cosmopolitan. It has plenty of sunscreen. It probably has all of the global brands your used to. You might try taking a look at ht...

Re: Thoughts on PR application
Don't you need things like copies of your SG tax assessments as proof of paying taxes and the like?
Is it possible the government would grant PR if you don't live here (baring the super rich).

Re: Lost job in Singapore with Credit Card debt
I think credit bureau check is a standard check carried out by screening agencies such as FirstAdvantage and Hire Right used by MNC banks. Other than the possibility of an individual could embezzle funds to cover debts, there is also a fear that an employee who has access to sensitive client data c...
