My wife's sponcer PR was approved end July 2015. We applied for the 2nd time in April 2015. Now she is holding a full time job. But we still wanted to go through sponcer PR channel.

My take is simple. Should they approve your citizenship now, you will be eligible to get an HDB flat in the re-sale market w/o even getting your wife's PR. Buying HDB is no longer the reason for PR application. PRs are not idiots to pay 5% more than citizens for a 30 year old pigeon hole. Basic salary is not a material change. It CAN be. A decrease of salary would need to be updated. An increase that would qualify you for a new employment pass would be. If you are on a P1 @ 8K and bumped to 9.6K (20%) I wouldn't bother as it's not really material. But if you basic is 10K and bumped ...
