Re: PR approval chance in 2020
May not be easy, because of ethnicity and also the occupation/profession. What’s wrong with IT sales? Sales is not in demand in the job market in my view. There are enough of local residents who are in the sales domain. Fair point. Though IT sales is rather broad . A solution architect is technical...

Re: Citizenship Application Rejection Letter
I have asked this question before but I will ask again - how does the ICA quantify/prove integration of an applicant? I for one have done my whole sec sch, jc, uni locally (funnily enough, i am a dragon baby and no schools had any spots to even consider taking me in. luckily, one neighborhood school...

Re: Apply Singapore citizenship
Cant compare as the the criteria for both is different. However, if you really need an answer, I'd wager getting PR as harder (for non malaysian chinese)malcontent wrote: ↑Mon, 30 Nov 2020 9:08 amJust curious, is it easier to get PR (as an EP) or SC (as a PR) at this moment? Or is there no difference?

Re: SC application chances
Sorry to hijack this threat but I have a question re SC application. I applied for SC back in mar 2018 (received rejection in feb 2019). After that I was jobless for quite some time (1 year plus) but am now employed again. I have also managed to substantially get a better pay compared to what I was...

Re: REP Not Renewed PR Status?
He’s 67. He’s self employed and has never employed anyone in his company. The company currently exists but as he is not drawing a salary anymore he has stopped paying income tax since 2 years ago (when he actually retired). Will there be any issues in 2025 for REP renewal if he continues to spend th...

Re: REP Not Renewed PR Status?
Sorry for hijacking this thread but I have a question about REP renewal. My parents (who have been PRs since early 2000s) recently applied for REP renewal. It wasn’t instantaneous but was approved for 5 years after 2 working days last week. My dad has his own company here in Singapore but has stoppe...

Re: Citizenship application status still pending
Salary is just one of the many variables taken into consideration during your application but guess there's no harm in appealing. Quite honestly, salary is the only thing going for me. I have been a PR since 2005 (when I was 17) so I doubt applying again “after a few years” is gonna make a diff. Sh...

Re: Citizenship application status still pending
Just checked my status today and it says “rejected” after 11 months. Hmm I thought you are supposed to get an email from ICA when a decision has been made? Question: I’m currently on notice with my current firm and I’m expecting a a salary increment of about 20% in my new job. Based on that, should...

Re: citizenship chances for pr of 21 years?
Hi all I am a 24 year old girl who has been a pr since i was a toddler. I applied for citizenship together with my mom in 2014 (I could not apply independently then as I was below 21 then and a student) but we were rejected after 12 months. My mom was told it was due to her low salary (which was $3...
