I have friends in Switzerland. That thing above SMS is not really the exact truth. My friends didn't have an AR in the house (and they had boys in national service at home still). I can't recall if it was a voluntary thing but I go the impression that it is not that common now to keep the AR at home...

I was looking for another job while I was already working in Singapore and I had a feeling it doesn't really make anything easier... All initial interviews are online anyway. No it's almost impossible. There are some toolkits that claim to be able to do it but I've never had any success.
