Re: EP renewal - police investigation

Thanks PNGMK. Normally people have trials set faster than the time it’s taking them to respond here. I'd disagree with that for criminal cases... for traffic offenses yes. The problem here however is that the arresting officer is not the investigating officer so there is an extra step and layer in ...

Re: Motorbike scrap value / Price of an old bike

I bought a Nov 2011 bike for a decent price so I hope to resell in a year and hope it retains some value. If not, if I will hold it for a little longer. Nice bike, but a 150cc has no pickup for someone my size on the expressway. A KTM Duke 200 might have been a better choice (but they are a little ...

Re: Android TV Box

If you want to watch Netflix in hd, get the Mii or nVidia. Devices need to be certified by Netflx to play higher than than 480p (which looks like ass IMO). I made the mistake of buying a generic one called Mecool M8s pro L. Apparently they used to have Netflix certification but they lost it by the ...

Re: Motorbike scrap value / Price of an old bike

There is a scrap value in bikes. It varies a bit but $500 (scooters) to $2000 (harleys) is my estimate. Also there are brands you need to avoid - Kwaka (terrible parts prices here) will not sell second hand and the chinese scooters and bikes are best avoided as well. The math isn't so solid on bikes...

If the AGC has not responded within a short time frame as you say I would also be concerned.

Re: My friend Completed Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery at IMU and she's in Singapore looking for a job

Is she registered with the Singapore Medical Council? One option if so maybe to look for locum jobs via a manpower service (so she can get a EP).

As above. Plus omitting this from your application is almost certain a test of poor character. This is why I tell people bankruptcy is NEVER the way out.

Re: Requirements to teach at secondary level at international schools

You need certification as a teacher from somewhere in addition to a bachelors or masters. Hint: you can get this online. It also helps to have some teaching experience.

You'd be better off in Thailand, the PI or Malaysia. They all have legit retirement visa programs.

Re: EP renewal - police investigation

Why not ask your solicitor? They will have far more experience in this than us. I do know of a friend though who has had his Maserati impounded for almost a year already as part of an investigation. Also as you didn't have a conviction (yet) I can see why your EP was approved but that doesn't mean i...
