I'd blackmail them both to keep my mouth shut but that's just me.

Re: 17 year old girl dies in Clementi
My son tells me that suicides have picked up a bit since the Covid restrictions were lifted. He doesn't know what is driving it. One thing that gives me the shits about suicides is that it's young men like my son who have to deal with the mess left behind. This might surprise you but with that 17 yo...

It's a way to become immortal... which is why more progressive countries refuse to give media access to the shooters.
Of course in rhe USA the MSM pay for access and the kids name and IG is public knowledge immediately.

I've given up on the US and the 2A issue.
The way I cope is to drink a beer and dedicate it to those young kids who never will.
It's more effective than thoughts and prayers I think.

Re: SG dollar limit in flight to Singapore
I like Wise also. I do all my invoicing as a freelance via my Wise accounts. We tease another friend Peter K that he is the reason Wise brought in transfer limits in Singapore. He transferred $3MM on wise from GBP to AUD! MAS brought in limits almost immediately afterwards (it was a house sale in th...

Re: SG dollar limit in flight to Singapore
It's put in place as a catch all Mal (for drug smugglers etc). My good friend Paul was the first ever case prosecuted in Australia for a similar law when he stupidly took back all his USD offshore pay from Singapore in 1989. All his friends were dragged into it as well as the cops photocopied his ad...

Re: i found Cats need a home - Cats
You idiot. You've been picking up what I suspect are "community owned" cats which are common here and not strays! They are usually fed by members of the public. I've only rarely seen real strays here and they are typically very young kittens.
