I'm just wondering how long has this been going on? Yes taking her out maybe a good idea, but after shopping around for a preschool, albeit local ones, I realised that many do not have vacancies to take in our kids. So, it may be a good idea IMHO to ask d preschool to deserve d spot for her while sh...

Hi, I think U can actually get more work done in Singapore compared to Sydney. We were in Adelaide for almost 2 yrs and the difference between aust and sg or Asia for that matter is that when U sign them up for preschool, it's daily. I've just sign my 4yo up for a preschool 7am-1pm for $600 pm. I no...

Meanwhile, there had been a new development. A former employer of mine has got a branch office in Singapore. I'm in talks with my exboss to see if she can fit me in there.
Does anyone know if I can get an EP independently? Rather than be on a LOC?

Sorry, I didn't explain this earlier. My husband has got an EP, so my son and I are on DP. I have also read from now web said, we don't need a student pass. But I think I should probably confirm that with immi, just to be safe.

Dear all, thanks for all your input. This is our 2nd relocation in 3yrs, and the thing I learnt from my 1st relocation is every tiny bit of info helps. I've been googling on LOC and looked at jobstreet. Noticed that there are some positions at enrichment centres who wouldn't mind hiring DP. I would ...
