I don't know why I keep saying this, but I am not a crew. With friends who are RFAs you will surely learn some of the terminologies, cause that's their lingo. We may get confused at the beginning, but as ex-crew, we will surely pick-up the terms in no time. If I am a crew, there is no need to deny i...

#-o There is really no need to be original with jaded people who cannot see beyond their own nose. Latin endings are not original. If you want originality, then create something of your own. Who really wants to try smelling the gutters anyway? The smell is there whether you realise it or not. So why...

Sigh... you don't get it, do you? Perhaps, I don't get you. I do admit that I was defensive from the beginning, cause I really do not understand people who attack without providing reasons. If you had given evidence to support your one-liner, thereby helping the enquirer and other readers understand...

Actually no, I'm not, although I am ex-SQ. You are right that UA is not up to par with other major carriers, however, that's in the area of resources, i.e. inflight entertainment, newer aircrafts, seating, etc. Most certainly not the cabin crew services (SINSW) which I've been told have won the 5-st...

Hi I was previouly with SQ. My hair is also a shade of brown, which appears lighter under the sun/ light. Glad you mentioned that as the last time I flew from Japan to Singapore there was new trainee stewardess with noticeably brown hair. Where people get it from that you have to dye your hair blac...

One line - Don't go unless you're whiney, old and desperate. Hi Toygirl That's really not a very nice thing to say. I hope that you are not a crew with any prestigious airline, for that would greatly discredit them. Maybe you ought to have a few deeper thoughts before rushing in with such a stateme...

Hi I was previouly with SQ. My hair is also a shade of brown, which appears lighter under the sun/ light. The main thing is that your hair colour must be natural, i.e. if you are Asian, you definitely will not have blond hair, right (not including those of mixed parentage)? Just tell the recruiter t...

I've put up a post on this before but no one bother about me. :( too engrossed in other topics. I'm having a dilemma due to the following factors: 1) Have a personal goal to save up mo...

I think sometimes the posters here get too caught up in the whole marketing hype regarding the "glamourous" lifestyles of a cabin crew. No question, you certainly get to travel and see more countries/places than any ordinary folk would in their lifetime. But, i know many cabin crew person...

Re: ..

oh my god!! which means if the turn out rate is almost the same as the last recruitment drive..which totals up to almost 2000 people..it will mean that...only 1 out of a group of 10 will be selected..that is the worst scenario! Then it is time to do some serious thinking. First of all ask y...

Megatop is the Boeing 747-400, aka Jumbo. Airbus A380 is the largest passenger fleet in the world right now, with default capacity of up to 555 passenger. For SQ (A380-800), the capacity is about 480. It's double-deck all the way. Since its capacity is more (Jumbo has about 375 seats), I guess it ma...
