Wisdom tooth

I visited dentist a wisdom tooth expert here in Singapore. He suggested me not to remove the wisdom tooth, unless I have pain or issues. He looked at the X ray and said, it looks fine to me. If I have to remove it, it involves surgery, he said not worth it. I am 39 now. I asked him what is the risk ...

Re: Citizenship Rejected (Appeal or Re-Apply) - Advice

2015, Singapore government announce "PRs and foreigners to pay higher school fees from 2016" For secondary school, increase $100/mth. You might think $100 increase is not much for you. But they might see differently. If money was the issue, dont you think 2 years of loss of earnings due t...

Re: Citizenship Rejected (Appeal or Re-Apply) - Advice

True enough, my eldest son applied for PR in 2016 while in Sec 3 knowing about his NS obligations. He got rejected and really felt dejected so he did not reapply anymore. My younger son then also just decided to be on student pass. 2015, Singapore government announce "PRs and foreigners to pay...

Re: pr got rejected

OP dont feel disheartened. I think your son will eventually get the PR, by the time he starts primary school. There is a limited quota for approval every year. So, priority wise, I think your son's application is being pushed back. I know of cases where child's PR got approved after 4-5 attempts. An...

Re: Retard NAS blogger trying to move here. Pray ICA sees sense and doesn't let him in.

There seem to be a number of people who dont like him, and thats perfectly OK. But I dont get why people are signing petitions to ban him - I cant see that as good for anyone. The whole Watain petition showed how small minded and petty some people can be, and I see this as only reinforcing that sma...

Re: NS liability for PR under Foreign Students scheme

I think as a NS liable PR, it is better to go and complete those 2 years of NS during peace time. Imagine, you are NS liable PR and you haven't yet been called for NS because of age. Then there is a sudden outbreak of war, who are the first people they are going to come looking for? This is a extrem...

Re: NS liability for PR under Foreign Students scheme

I guess it depends on which scheme you apply under. If you apply under PTS, then no NS. If you apply as a student then you have NS.

Re: Credit Card Points

There is an offer from Citi where I can pay $288 for 28223 bonus Citi Miles (I meet all the other criteria such as minimum spend) I really dont do much with my Credit Card points or miles as I normally fly on discounted fares which is better value than the programs. My question is - Is it worth it?...

Re: [Pls Help] PR application chances assessment

Yes, the site does say you can apply for PR after 6 months here. However, your chances are extremely slim unless you are a rocket scientist or a neurosurgeon. But if your faith is strong enough, who knows. Nothing ventured nothing gained and yeah, $300 is just a month's worth of booze and that much...
