She could have a "blue nevus," also known as "blue nevi." They're not necessarily blue in color, but can be. I had something like what you described almost 10 years ago on the side of my temple along the hairline. The dermatologist removed it and stitched up the skin and sent th...

I think it's like buying a car, as a starting point you need to define what your needs and expectations are. Is it just for you, or two? What size and weight are you? What size is the bedroom? Do you hope to keep using existing bed-linen? You can find mattress buying guides on the web (for example ...

http://i.imgur.com/LvjO42l.jpg Yep, but if it worries her, have her go to a dermatologist and have it checked just to make sure. It will ease her mind as to the cancer thing, if she really doesn't like it and it's not cancerous, she can cover it with a tat. ;-) I'll do just that! The advise to see ...

A friend of mine suggested a Google USB thumbstick device that you can stick in your TV, is anyone using that? It's a lot more limited than an Apple TV, as you must tie it to a computer for almost everything (Where as an AppleTV has most of those services built right into the device). Unless the co...

What are your requirements? I'm using a no name brand 'Stylemaster', purchased from Courts years ago and it's still holding up pretty well. I think a lot of what you pay for in a mattress is the marketing cost, especially for the big brands. I suppose so... My budget is around $1000 to $1500, so I ...

Cancerous mole?

Hi forumers, my sister had a small black spot (like an ink dot, which cannot be washed off) appear on her forearm recently. It's flat and not bumpy. She thinks its a cancerous mole but I thought it was just pigmentation. Has anyone had similar experiences before?

My partner suffered from acne problems in his youth, he told me no amount of cleaning, cream or special diet prevented pimples from popping out. It got better after puberty, but he's quite affected by it. He's still very conscious of what he eats now.

Re: Adopting a dog?

Where's reputable in Singapore? I've looked at SPCA and whilst they have a big selection I'm not sure usually preferring foster care rescue. I've seen a few smaller groups but they seem to be mainly older street dogs which would be fine if I didn't have a 6 year old. Anyone got any tried and tested...

In addition to Craigslist and Gumtree, you might also want to try Renotalk, they've a buy sell section for furniture that's quite active - http://www.renotalk.com/forum/forum/11-home-furnishings/. Another place I've had success with is the used furniture dealers contact form on Usedfurnituresingapor...

+1. More than ample, especially if you are single. You could eat out every night on this. I am a single professional. No familial obligations ( spouse / partner, children, pets etc ). I am shocked though that the rental prices are excruciatingly high. I managed to find a decent condo with all the a...
