Re: REP renewal for a dependent PR

Do you have male siblings ? did they do NS? Evasion of NS could be a risk factor that can affect renewal of REP for family members.

Re: Question About S-Pass and PR

You lost your PR automatically when your REP expired while you were outside of Singapore.

Re: Is there a best time to apply for renewal of REP?

REP does not equal PR. You can remain a Singapore PR as long as you do not exit Singapore with a expired REP. But because of the realities of the workplace, it might be difficult to keep the PR as many types of employment require foreign travel and not being able to travel will prevent you from bein...

Re: Singapore Citizenship REJECTED

I believe success of SC application depends on both nationality, economic profile, age, and intangibles (integration, family profile etc). My SC application with family was also rejected (Pinoy PR for 11 years at the time of application). My economic profile is not too bad in my opinion (> 130K fami...

Re: Entering country while waiting for Employment Pass

You can come on a social visit pass but you may need a visa depending on your citizenship. You may be asked for a return ticket if you do not have your IPA (in-principle approval letter) yet.

Re: Got an offer, EP approved but employment will not commence

Assuming there are no other issues between you, you should try to complain to MOM. It will be difficult to get any compensation or to even get your job back but if MOM receives many complaints of this kind regarding this company, the company's application for passes will be scrutinized or rejected i...

Marry her and get a DP for her after that. With your salary above 6K, getting a DP is not impossible.

I find the Paragon to be my go-to place when nature calls in Orchard Road.
I find that MBS has too few stalls for the amount of people. Maybe the six stars is for certain areas within the MBS.

Re: Will my application for PR be approved automatically if my unborn child is a Singaporean citizen?

As far as I know, there is no automatic PR approval in Singapore. In your case, you must apply for it under family ties with your wife as the sponsor. As long as the government sees that your marriage is not of convenience, then there should be a good chance of approval.

Re: LTVP Child of Singapore PR Non-Working Mother

If you are not Malaysian, the chances of getting PR for your child is low. For me , I was granted PR in 2005 but my daughter who was born in 2010 was denied PR approval for 4 times. She was on LTVP before but now is on student pass. They tightened the PR criteria after 2010 and as a result a large p...

Re: ICA PR application eappointment strange phenomena

The forms used to be easily found in the all forms section of the ica site but i could not find it now too. These changes is probably due to the new online application procedure for PRs.

Re: Advice about visa for my child

If you are not qualified to apply for a dependent pass for your child, then it is probable that your child's student pass application will not be successful except if you can prove other sources of income outside of singapore or other sources of support outside of singapore (e.g. the other parent wh...

Re: Public School in Singapore for Foreigners

Look at the MOE website for school registration procedures for foreigners. To summarize, P1 must go through P1 registration exercise which has 3 phases. Foreigners are on phase 3 where most of the slots have already been taken. P2-P5 must go through the AEIS route. Basically, your child takes the A...

Re: Company details of employment in SG citizenship application

For my application, I got this info from our HR and submitted it. Our HR department is used to employees who go for SC application and has readied this info for our use. But we are a public company. I am not sure how it is with private companies.
