Your new employer needs to apply a new employment pass for you before you can work for them.

Re: Singapore PR Extension

Anytime that you have resided outside of Singapore will lessen your chances of renewal but based on anecdotal evidence, some PRs who have resided outside of Singapore were given a 1 year REP to allow them to re-establish their residencies in Singapore.

Re: Hoping to emigrate but don't know where to start

There are a few ways to immigrate in Singapore. 1. PTS scheme. First you must find employment in Singapore which is eligible for an spass or EP. After a few years, you can apply for permanent residence on your own merits. Looking for a job in Singapore while outside is challenging but you can look a...

Re: In Singapore before ipa letter

You can use the IPA letter to get the actual employment pass. There is no need to leave if there are enough days on your visit pass for you to complete the formalities of your employment pass.

Re: Getting a S pass with a part-time study diploma

I have known people without degrees who are able to secure an employment pass but this is not common. It is based on work experience in the field applied and whether the salary offered is commensurate with that experience.

Re: Bring mother on LTVP while studying at NUS?

This LTVP is for minors, so in your case, i do not think you can bring your mother on this pass. You can ask ICA directly to confirm.

Re: 1 day overstay in singapore

Do you have a stamp on your passport from singapore immigration aside from the normal entry and exit stamps? If you are banned for some time, there is an indication there in the passport pages. You can show the IPA to the officer but the officer will decide if you are going to be allowed entry. Norm...

Re: ICA Formalities for visit pass

AUD is good enough for show money since there are lots of money changers. Also credit cards are usually used for travel, so you can show that too.

Re: ICA Formalities for visit pass

If your country is one of those that do not require a visa to enter Singapore, then you can just show your passport at immigration together with the filled up immigration form. They will take your picture and fingerprint you and compare your information with their database. If you are not on any wat...

Re: Thoughts on my EPR Application

Filipinos and other SEA nationalities (except Malaysians) have typically low chances of being approved for PR. Your profile is just about average but there is no harm in trying except for the SGD100 fee.

Re: PR Application for Child

A related but different question. A SC + EP couple having DP boys. Can the SC sponsor to apply the DP boys for PR? Will ICA reject the PR application and request the SC to apply SC for boys instead? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk If you look at the eligibility criteria from ica, it seems techni...

Re: PR Application for Child

Both applications succeeded for the child.
Child's PR was approved first, then a few months later, the entire family's SC application was approved.

This is rare and I do not know of any other cases like this.

Re: PR Application for Child

Maybe the inability to follow instructions was the cause for the rejection? :-k :???: I know of another case of concurrent PR/SC application (PR for child, SC for family) where both applications succeeded. So no , I do not believe that it is prohibited to apply concurrently. Take note that this is ...

Re: PR Application for Child

I applied for PR for my daughter (sponsored by me) then while that application was ongoing, I applied for citizenship (together as a family). Concurrent applications is possible in this case (PR and citizenship). Both were rejected though.
