My kid got citizen
Your kid isn't hiring the maid
Lol, curious though how the kid is a citizen when you are not
This is common for a couple where one is a SC and the other is a foreigner (PR/LTVP/Epass).

Re: PR application timeline

Not surprising. Even pre-COVID, some applications take up to more than 18 months. With COVID, I would expect the processing times to be even longer. Your waiting time is still within a normal range in my opinion.

Re: PR approval in 2019

There are limited PR slots every year and there are many applicants from the India so the chances of approval will be low. But to win the lottery, you must buy your ticket so keep applying if the fee is not burdensome to you. You will also need to keep upgrading your profile to increase your chances.

Re: ltvp vs ep

MOM will not cancel her EP automatically. It is up to her to apply for LTVP from ICA. If the LTVP application is successful, she will surrender the EP and receive the LTVP. Re: Working from home decreasing or increasing productivity?

I like WFH but in terms of productivity, it is the same as in the office. Because we do not need to commute and prepare, there is additional time for work and other things but there are also distractions at the home.

Re: 15 minutes high intensity workout at home

I am following workouts by BodyProject which is not hard on my knees ( moderate to high intensity and low impact, jumping is optional). I also sometimes follow Chloe Tings abs workouts to supplement the cardio. The timeframe is about 1 month. It should be more but my diet has not adjusted yet.

Re: 15 minutes high intensity workout at home

I am following some youtube cardio exercises that can be done at home. I am seeing some slight progress on the weight loss front (1-2kg). I believe it is my diet that is preventing me from seeing better results.

Re: Property transactions dropped so little?

I think these are the transactions that were just finalized but started before COVID19. We will need to see the next month's statistics to see if the trend is deteriorating.

You should make a request to your HR and in that request copy and paste the above requirements by ICA. That is what I did.

Re: PR chances for my profile

You have a low chance i believe as your nationality is not preferred and you are a male former PR whose family renounced just before you were NS liable.

You can still try to apply and let us know whether this assessment is correct.
