A few weeks after being given PR status I received a letter from Mindef that asked me to register via their website. @coolkiwi: my wife has been PR for more than 10 years. Has the same education level as I do, with a degree from NTU. Her salary is slightly higher than mine.

JR8, it seems to me, after reading some of your comments here, that you wouldn't mind Scotland getting its independence.
It makes me wonder how would a different referendum result in which English/Welsh/N.Irish were asked whether 'Yes' or 'No' to keep Scotland as part of UK...
