ecureilx@ That sounds logical, would normally the employment agency assist with the no-objection letter? The agency who is going to apply the IPA has the mindset that with an IPA entering Singapore will be a breeze for the FDW. I dont think this is the case, even with an IPA she will be rejected aga...

Thank you for the tip :) A social SVP is not really an option since when she finds a employer she still has to exit Singapore first. Re-entry will still be a problem.

Also I think getting a SVP when your refused entry 2x is near impossible.

Thank you for the quick reply, very much appreciated! I think ICA has something with her, strange enough when the agent contact ICA there is apparently no problem at all. Is there any smart way to get an entry visa by ICA ... with the IPA already given? This to make sure she does not get rejected at...

Hi All, A Philippine lady who worked as a DH in Singapore in 2010, tried to re enter in August 2011 but got a refused entry. At the moment she is in Malaysia, JB trying to find a job in Singapore as a DH. An agent tried to bring here to Singapore as a tourist today but she was refused entry again. T...

Partly true ... I speak from own experience inviting people from Asia to The Netherlands. How many young single Asian females do you tend to invite, and where are you meeting all of them? :P Because I can make some assumptions, and those assumptions would dovetail with likely red-flags for ICA :win...

:) :) :) Honestly I think comparing Singapore with US/Europe is a bridge to far. Singapore is not similar at all ... Race or social background is never an issue with these destinations .. as long you did your paperwork well and you live up to the rules and regulations being publicized openly by tho...

Philippines is a cheap flight, see her there. If things don't work out, you'll find plenty of other friends there who will want to be your friend back, I promise you. Just ask to see their passports before inviting them, ok? :P      Maarten : there you go .. for the co...

@the lynx Thanx for your honest feedback :) We both have honestly no idea what that could be ... The challenge I have to get into contact with ICA, they only thing I keep on hearing is that if I can always appeal my appeal or just let her try to enter Singapore in a few months from now. Is it possib...

Yes, she did had a return ticket, 10 days from arrival if I remember correctly ...

I thought citizens of ASEAN countries had the freedom of travel between these countries. Apparently this "freedom" has a lot to do with your ethnicity and your social status.

@zzm9980 Thanx for your quick reply! She did travel in the region and even to Europe before... but these are just short holiday trips. Maybe good to mention she did work for 2 years in Singapore as a DH and left Singapore in 2009 after finishing her contract. (in a decent way ...) She has currently ...
