i have an ex colleague who used Robert Walters and had pretty good experience with them. This agency seems to specialise more in banking & finance jobs though.

The thing with Singaporean English is that they speak very fast and employ a lot of abrupt sounds. I would like to know how to improve understanding Singapore English. to counter the stupid taxi uncles, i always use my iphone 4 to map out the route on the map application with the GPS turned on. that helps alot when there are disputes.

yes it is legal to do that in Singapore. A Sunday Times check with marinas and clubs found that at least a dozen expatriates – mostly from the United States, Germany, Britain and Australia – live on boats here.
