Dear forum members, I have a few questions I hope some of you could help me with. I am a Singapore PR, who has been residing outside Singapore for more than a year and a half now, but now in the process of moving back. Last time I lived in Singapore I was single, but I now have a family, two childre...

Almost certainly not. For one, he's not a resident of Singapore. There is no way to paint this case as anything other than you're trying to get him PR for his own benefit and not for the purpose of residing permanently in Singapore (the whole point of being a PR). I apreciate that you take time to ...

The question is: Can I apply for PR for my son, without applying for PR for his mum, and if so what ...

Re: Teleworking from Singapore

Hi Everybody. Trying to figure out what the correct course of action is for the situation i now find myself in. I tried calling MOM and IRAS but couldn't successfully navigate their phone system to get to a real person. Long story short I'm moving to Singapore in the fall with my wife. She has an E...

A quick update.

A piece of string is approximately 11 months. I am now officially a Singapore Permanent Resident. I did not do anything to attempt to speed up the process and I was only contacted once to fill out a form.

Thank you Singapore!

SMS, good observation. It was totally legal though. I was attached to a diplomatic mission in Singapore for two years with a diplomatic pass and a 2-year visa. I was working at the trade and commercial division. It is a visa issued by MFA and not ICA or MOM. I fell in love with Singapore long before...

My words were not meant to be harsh, just factual. I'm giving it to you the way they look at it. If you think otherwise, just look at the requirements for an entrepass today as compared to when you got it. Then, maybe you'll get my drift. I don't say I agree with them, but you are asking for though...

How long is a piece of string? My question would be if you have been earning that kind of bread in the last three years, and you've been here 9 years on a EP/Entrepass, why haven't you bought property here? Sank some roots, or at least in appearances anyway? It would appear, from my POV, that you a...

What happens when a PR retires from work in Singapore? Does that mean that the REP will be automatically rejected because he/she is not employed?
