Re: oildude's new orange cat

She'll be waiting for you on the other side of the rainbow bridge. May she rest in peace. You know only about 4 days ago she jumped off her stool and went for a bird that was near our window. I'm hoping she finally caught one. It's hard as she died alone but that's what she wanted - she clearly cho...

Re: oildude's new orange cat

I've been thinking the same actually. Any vet recommends from people? Let me ask the folks from local pet community. Will get back. We've switched her food and she is eating more. Her weight loss has stabilized. Here are some local recommendations in caqse you need it: https://www.facebook.com/Brig...

Re: oildude's new orange cat

I've been away for a week. She's gone from 4.05 kg to 3.8 kg in that time. We've just switched her food and she ate a bit and is keeping it down. She's extremely quiet and weak (normally a vocal cat) and has found a dark corner to hide in for most of the day. She's not in apparent pain that I can s...

Re: Buying an engagement ring in Malaysia

Hi all! I just found this topic on the web, so decided that will not create a new one for my question. Is it possible to buy a golden ring with engraving in Malaysia? I want to make a good gift to my bf. :???: Thanks! Any proper jewellery store in Singapore and Malaysia can pull it off if it is pro...

Re: Bringing Dog to Singapore

I have not been able to find any posts anywhere regarding this, hoping someone could provide insight. We are preparing to move to Singapore for work, and have a large Labrador mix that has been with us since he was a puppy (9 years old now). I have gotten myself familiar with the requirements at AV...

Re: PR REP Renewal

Many of my colleagues are very trigger happy to hire a maid and send their wives to work. I tell them it is a land mine, be very careful. I let my wife stay at home and do household work, we don't want to get into any kind of mess. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk Yep. Smart man. I don't tr...

Re: PR REP Renewal

I would put 'self employed' and be prepared to back it up with some evidence like a half written book or business plan. I dont think self employed will work. If self employed, they will ask for evidence of income. He has to declare that he is unemployed and quickly find a job to renew his REP. All ...

Re: PR REP Renewal

Thank you Wd40, for your positive thought. And I have one more question, we are family of 4, myself, my wife and 9yrs old daughter are SPR. MY son was born in US (holding US passport by birth). I may need to apply LTVP for him upon arrival in SG. Does my short validity of REP will affect his LTVP a...

Re: Smartly MBA / EMBA - Valuable?

Don't bother. MBA is only valuable to the university provider's circle. Harvard is most far-reaching. If you take, say, University of Rotterdam's MBA programme for example, it is only useful for the Netherlands - no need to talk about UK and other parts of Europe. INSEAD is the best in Singapore - a...

Re: PR rejected. Got the "PR kiss of death"?

See? It is conclusive that the only way to overcome the Kiss of Death is when the applicant reapply after a considerable amount of time with improved stats (salary increase, better role, awards, contribution, etc).

Re: Changing Jobs after getting an EP

Good to know...thats really interesting as I thought the allure of doing business here were was the ease of being able to run your business easily. But if you can't hire the people you need or you want, or if you can only do so at increasing costs, then it seems to go counter to the idea. Indeed. T...

Re: Singapore PR Approval chances in the year 2017-2018

Do you know what the acronym PR stands for? If not it is "Permanent Residence". You do know what residence means, correct? So how do you think you can have PR unless you are resident in the country giving your PR? :-k  Well, Australia, Canada and NewZealand give PR without even visi...

Re: Home Based Small Scale Business Scheme

@SE While OP is not the suitable candidate in this discussion, I still think Home-Based Small Scale Business Scheme still does not require registration with ACRA, although the ACRA and HDB does contradict each other in their websites. It is more straight forward if the scheme in question is Home Off...
