Join the facebook group "singapore expats in local schools". They have some good info there. If I remember right there were a couple of kids getting in through AEIS.

Born after we got our pr. Did not apply immediately after he was born as my job was not stable.

I have tried to estimate and break down the living cost for my family (assuming 3 family members): * Taxes (my salary, ~12%): S$1.320,00 would be slightly lower than this. try the calculator on the IRAS site (comes to around 10 K p.a.) * Rent (2 bedroom apartment): S$4.000,00 generally should be ok....

Agree with JR8 on this one. we have health insurance that covers for hospitalization. One of our acquaintances got diagnosed with cancer and they have spent a crazy sum. They had hospitalization covered but there is a lot that is not covered.It has gone on for about a year and the cancer keeps comin...
