I have not watched the documentary, so I can answer your questions based on some assumtions. 1) It depends on what period the docu is set. They seems to be uneducated and for them, anything unknown is to be avoided. The general impression is that life will be difficult in Bombay and it is be full of...

If you want ZERO crime, I know a place in Philippines, ZERO crime .. and from what i know - maybe that's the...

I learned that serving staff are taxed on both salary plus a projected tipping rate (calculated on the sales by their employer), and so if you don't tip you are actually likely costing the server money. Whoa, where is this the case... US? I know that in Vegas casinos the drinks you get aren't reall...

What pecentage of that 24 million poeple really believe in what they have been indoctrinated? How do you go about "re-educating" 24 million people or so to stop believing in what they have been indoctrinated with?

Where and why does Amex come into picture here? You have done a cash-less transaction and used a credit card to pay the money. To buy was your decision and you have to deal with it.

If you are really serious about singapore, approach the authorities and speak to them and tell them that you are ready to do NS. See whether it will help.

This is the only way to try to come back to singapore, but no guarantee that they will accept your offer.
