Re: Good stationery stores

Times bookstores (Centrepoint) and Kinokunaya (Orchard) both have a wide range of diaries and planners.

You of all people should know that they only have a rudimentary grasp of words that are sung. You've ready enough bad lyrics on Karaoke screens I reckon. They normally don't have a clue. Even those who are English educated here have problem with the sung word, let along if it's been garbbled up in ...

Re: Pfffffttttt....

Who's the troll?...

This place has been a great resource for my 4 years in SG, I've learnt a lot, advised some people, had a giggle and met some great friends (you know who ...

I'd be very, very careful about Tailors here - it's a shady industry and an arbitrage play on people not having a clue about the process and materials used. Many shops just take measurements, and outsource the cutting and stitching to a sweatshop (that's why many tailored suits look exactly the same...

Honestly, if this means the IT body shops are on their way out, good riddance. It's not like these are attracting "high quality" migrants anyway and it really makes no sense for back office IT to be in Singapore. For those who have real skills and not commodity level IT expertise I'm still not seei...
