Let's put it this way, if you are applying for another position in Singapore, you better as the employer will find out anyway when they apply for your next work pass. When that happens, guess what.
Any idea whether getting a third job in 5 months will affect EP application?

Re: PR application by Ex SPR

Thanks for the reply PNGMK. I had written to ICA asking if I could renew the REP while overseas and also applied online and got a rejection. As I was overseas when REP expired, I ceased to be a PR. Subsequently, the ICA requested me to surrender the NRIC citing regulation 13 of the National Registr...

LONG TERM VISIT PASS FOR SPOUSE OF PR

I am writing this message to would know about our case. - i came to Singapore in 30 June and my husband (Pr card) applied for my LTVP. But I came back Vietnam after 2 days. We didn’t know that ICA asked us to send original documents to ICA building before 7 July. If not, my application will be treat...

Re: PR application by Ex SPR

1. Yes 2. As soon as you have one tax return would be a good start. Also I don't agree with this statement: "ICA did not allow it at the time as I was outside Singapore" - if you had shown (based on my direct experience) that you were overseas as the result of a temporary company transfer you should...

PR application by Ex SPR

My wife and I were first generation SPR. During financial crisis, my employer transferred me overseas. I tried renewing the REP while overseas but ICA did not allow it at the time as I was outside Singapore. I wrote to them explaining that I intend to come back to Singapore and do not intend to with...

Re: pr application translated documents

I know this forum has been saying that, for Malaysians applying for Singapore PR, there is no need to get a English translation of the Birth Cert (issued in Malay). However, the "Chat replied (Ask Jamie @ICA) from ICA website" indicated that it has to be translated to English. Is there any latest in...

Re: Need advice on citizenship

I find it shocking that doing NS no longer guarantees citizenship. I definitely would not have got citizenship without the accelerated program, given my performance during NS. Wonder how do second gen PR justify doing NS nowadays? I cannot imagine having one's immigration status left in limbo for s...

Re: Singapore EP timeline

With Singapore Employers it's hard to tell exactly what they do. Most small companies and a lot of larger SME are notorious for bending the rules and also using potential employees to make up tenders as some project tenders also require the CV of the project teams as well. (Never quite figured that ...

Re: Singapore EP timeline

Nobody ever told you not to put all eggs in one basket? There is a good possibility that the position is one that requires the employer to post the vacancy for a minimum of two weeks on the Jobs Portal at MOM. They have to wait until that expires before they can make application to MOM as one of the...
