Re: Finding work/living in Singapore with expunged misdemeanor

No. But the hurdles for PR and citizenship are extremely high for non Chinese or Malay races. You would do well to read threads on moving and getting a PR. Your chances are slim.

Re: EP rejected due to 'qualifications'. What to do?

I have an offer that exceeds the pay criteria in the EP (P1) requirements ($200k/pa), and have previously worked in Singapore a few years ago. My EP application by the new employer was rejected by the MoM on the grounds of 'qualifications', and though the employer is going to appeal, I'm wondering ...

Re: PEP processing time (personal employment pass)

Just got my IPA too. Took them slightly over 9 weeks to approve. I will be moving to SG shorly to apply and get a pass issued. One of the required documents is (listed on MoM web site): - Your residential address in Singapore. From 14 September 2018, your residential address must meet the housing re...

Accommodation with fitness classes like Zumba, Aerobics, etc.

Hi,
I will be moving to Singapore by the year-end. What would be good 2-3 Bedroom properties with good swimming pools and group fitness lessons closer to a prime location or with a good view? My budget is approximately 4500 SD per month.

Re: Terminate Tenancy Agreement

How long a delay are you looking at? If it's a few weeks suck it up. If it's months or indefinite then inform the rental agent that you don't have legal status to stay in Singapore. It's a HUGE fine for a property to be rented out to someone who is an illegal resident so that should get their atten...

Hi all. Looking for some visa advice here. I'm British, and have been working on Singapore for just over 3 years on an EP, living here with my wife and kids who are on DPs. I'm starting a job in Australia in a few months. My EP runs out next month, and will be converted to a short term visit pass fo...

Re: Finding employment?! Help!

LinkedIn is your best hope. The only other thing I can suggest is to make a list of multi-nationals that have offices in Singapore. Each MNC will have global job postings on their website. Maybe there is something in Singapore that might fit for you. Local recruiters are a waste of time. Imagine......
