Very unfortunate..you are right, probably pilot skill's also got bit rusty due to Covid19. and bad weather. Our weather in Singapore is also quite stormy everyday...

Weather. There can be nasty storms there. Pilot asked to climb (to get above it presumably) but didn't. Probably flew into it and then lost control. Pilot training has really dropped due to Covid19 - 2020 was deadliest year for flying for some time.

... an email - they don't keep it on the website now) or go into their office with a cheque and fill form on the spot (but need booking now because of Covid19).

Wonder if anyone expected this to happen. I thought was pretty much expected all you need is one covid person to bring the ship back. 🙄🙄

Actually, one of my friends was diagnosed with COVID-19 by PCR, but he could still fly. We all convinced him to postpone his flight to not expose others on the plane. The US airlines really had no mechanisms in place to stop infected people from flying. They just want the money. Sent from my iPhone ...

Certainly looking forward to normalcy soon... Real normalcy in Singapore is years off. Lawrence Wong says as much in this clip... Our current stifling restrictions will remain for a long time. Well... I plan to take it but I asked my wife not to. That way if it has a negative effect one of us is left to look after the dreadful daughter.
